ABOUT
Our Story
In the wake of the World Trade Center tragedy, a local barber sat alone in his shop late one night, guitar in hand, when inspiration struck. What emerged was "Thank You for Serving," a heartfelt tribute to our military personnel, first responders, and police.
The song's power didn't go unnoticed. Joanne Baiano, an experienced arranger, recognized its potential and helped arrange the piece further. The song was then professionally recorded at Surefire Studios in Long Branch, the same studio where Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi created some of their most memorable work. Another original song written by Dan Griiffen, Soldiers Prayer, also gives thanks to those who gave all is soon to be added to the collection
The debut of "Thank You for Serving" took place at a local VFW in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where it received an overwhelming response. The moment was truly magical, with many veterans moved to tears by the song's powerful message of gratitude and respect.
When asked why he wasn't famous, Mickey's humble response: "I'm not CBS or NBC, just a songwriting barber."
Our Mission

This ambitious project addresses real challenges faced by our heroes, including the pain of separation, post-traumatic stress, and the tragic issue of service-related suicides.
